TEX•COTE® COOLWALL® systems offer homeowners one of today’s most reliable and beautiful solutions to protecting their home’s exterior. Not only is TEX•COTE® COOLWALL® 10 times thicker on average than ordinary paint, but it also contains special reflective pigments – the same type of pigments used by the U.S. government to cool ships, and provide both reflectivity and reduced radar signature in Stealth bombers!!!

Due to their ability to reflect light, these pigments can lower surface temperatures by as much as 40-degrees F, when compared to traditional paints and coatings in many colors.

Lower exterior temperatures can lead to lower interior temperatures. A study conducted by the U. S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory showed that TEX•COTE® COOLWALL® coatings can reduce a home’s cooling costs by as much as 21.9%!

The 10-Step Installation Process

An innovative product requires a special skill set to install, which is why our installation team follows a strict 10-step installation process that helps ensure timely, efficient, and consistent results. Here’s how we do it:

Step 1. Inspection – A complete inspection of your home’s exterior which results in revealing surface deterioration such as chipping, flaking, peeling and suspect areas.
Step 2. Trenching – Trench around perimeter of home where possible this helps eliminate costly repairs from decay at the foundation.
Step 3. Pressure washing –  Entire house is cleaned using powerful, pressure cleaning action which removes dirt, stains, loose paint and foreign substrates. Reveals surface areas in need of repair or patching. Removes surface mildew or algae and provides a clean, tight surface for a bonding finish.
Step 4. Repair and patch – We then repair damaged or deteriorated areas found during inspection using our TEX-BOND® and FLEX PATCH® products. Patching shall be performed on all affected areas as close to the original surface design as possible. Caulking shall be performed around windows, doors, metal flashings, and other areas of water penetration. This helps correct surface defects and creates a sound & uniform surface for the coating.
Step 5. Masking –  All doors, shrubs, trim, windows, lawn area and surfaces not to be coated are carefully covered so that we provide the most professional looking job possible and prevents overspray.
Step 6.  – The First Coat of Armor – SUPER-COTE® Textured or Smooth Primer is applied. Sprayed on thick using heavy duty equipment at a pressure of up to 3000 psi. This creates a thick, armor-like surface that protects the original exterior masonry or wood surface from weather damage.
Step 7. Coating inspection – After the TEX-COTE application, the entire house is carefully inspected for proper thickness, uniform appearance and areas that might have been missed to assure maximum protection.
Step 8. The Second Coat of Armor – TEX-COTE, SUPER-COTE®, COOLWALL® is sprayed on thick again using heavy duty equipment at a pressure of up to 3000 dpi. We add the color of your choice (wide range of colors to choose from). This revolutionary Patented, Heat Reflective Shield is significantly more reflective than traditional paints and can provide up to a 40 degree F difference in lower surface temperatures.
Step 9. TRIM-COTE® –  Loose paint is scraped and sanded. A primer is applied and the TRIM-COTE® as well. This special formulation will give lasting beauty and stand up longer to the UVs as compared to ordinary trim paint. Warranted for as long as you own your home.
Step 10. Clean up and final inspection – Finally, our team performs a complete cleanup and inspection. We won’t leave until you are 100% satisfied with our work
